MEET GENE

I remember long ago the Christmas morning, when two of my four older brothers, received guitars as Christmas presents. That is when it started. I played the percussion section of our new sibling band. I patted out the tempo on many of our household pillows. If a guitar string would break, it was too expensive to replace. You know, many good songs can be composed on only a few strings.

I remember long ago when one of those older guitar playing brothers came home from college with a message I had never heard before. He was the first to move out of our old homestead, where I grew up in upstate New York, USA. That message was that according to Jesus Christ in John 3, you must be born again to see the Kingdom of God. I know that I wanted to see the Kingdom of God. So, at the age of 13, I prayed and asked Jesus to come into my heart and life. You know what? He did.

Now I am a much older, retired Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who became burnt out or overworked preparing financial reports and corporate income tax returns.

Now I am returning to my first love of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I am trying to comprehend why Jesus would love me and die for me.

Now I am writing, performing, arranging, mixing, producing, and distributing Christian tracks to try to convey the thoughts that are occurring in my heart.

Jesus said in Luke 10:2 that the harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few. Are you a laborer in God’s harvest field? If not, why not? Do you not want to see the Kingdom of God?
